Dear Reader,
I'm writing to you in order to help you understand what a multi-genre project is, what that means, and how you can make one.
A multi-genre project is a project made up of three or more different genres, working together to convey a message to a target audience. The genres can be in any form that is appropriate and relevant to your topic, and the most important part of the project is having genres that convey your message and are received how they are intended to your audience.
Multi-genre projects seem complicated, but finding different genres can actually make your message more clear as different people in your audience may respond or engage with genres differently. Some might see a video and ignore a text post while others might avoid a link but read something about your topic.
Understanding your audience is a great way to discover which genres will be more effective in conveying your message opposed to those which won't engage the audience. Once you have a topic or message to convey, the genres should all compliment each other and then you will be more likely to get your message across!
Let me know if you need help!
-Jake
